These sessions include a personalized treatment plan to address your unique needs. Overcome pain, regain strength and mobility, and get back to doing performing your best every day.

Dr. Katie Judd graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2018. She has been proudly serving patients across the North Shore for over seven years.

Katie’s passion for physical therapy was inspired by her own experience as a high school and collegiate athlete recovering from multiple injuries. These experiences fueled her dedication to helping others overcome pain, recover from both acute and chronic injuries, and achieve their highest potential—whether that means returning to daily activities or high-level athletic performance.

In addition to her clinical work, Katie has experience in the health and wellness setting, where she provides personal training services specializing in return-to-sport and high-level strength training within the gym environment. She combines her background in rehabilitation and performance to create individualized programs that bridge the gap between injury recovery and long-term fitness success.

Katie is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms) and holds certifications in Functional Dry Needling (FDN1), Graston Technique, and Functional Movement Techniques (FMT). Her clinical interests include orthopedic manual therapy, movement optimization, and performance enhancement for active individuals of all levels.

After graduating from Boston University, she worked at several outpatient clinics and was the Head Athletic Trainer at Gloucester High School. In 2019 she completed her Board Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist, becoming an expert in holistic athletic injury management, including prevention, acute care, treatment, rehabilitation, and education. Additionally, Alyssa earned her certifications in Strength and Conditioning, ImPACT Concussion Management and Red Cross Instruction.

In 2021 Alyssa left the traditional, high-volume clinic setting in hopes of providing an elevated level of care to her clients. She opened her first small cash-based practice, LYSS PT & Wellness, in Boxford, Ma where she treated a variety of common orthopedic conditions. Thanks to her amazing clients, her caseload grew rapidly and knowing she needed more space, Alyssa partnered with RECK Fitness in 2024 to open HYPE Sports Rehab in Danvers, MA. Although she has worked with clients of all ages, levels and varieties of sports, Alyssa most prefers working with football players. In addition to being in the clinic, Alyssa is the Director of Sports Medicine for the 8x National Champion women’s tackle football team, The Boston Renegades. She works closely with the athletes and staff to ensure a successful and healthy season, providing a high level of care for the professional women athletes.

Alyssa is passionate about creating tailored plans for her clients, including injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance. Her treatments are always one-on-one and she enjoys using a variety of manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and restore mobility. No matter the cause or condition, Alyssa strives to help and empower her clients to achieve their goals, confidently participate in the activities they love and perform their best, every day.

As a former D1 athlete, Alyssa still enjoys playing sports like flag football and pickleball. Her other favorite activities are traveling and finding the next best restaurant - and she is always looking for recommendations for both!
